Created as an alternative to the ballet flat, NewbarKs provide fashionistas with a break from the strain and discomfort caused by strutting around in high heels. The collection of handmade leather slippers has already proven to hold up in a variety of conditions, from in the rain, to on the sand; however, the practicality of NewbarKs may be overshadowed by their unique look. The LA-based sister style duo, who have worked with such clients as Heidi Klum and Karen O., designed the line in a number of eye-catching, metallic hues, even including with each pair of slippers a matching pouch to maximize the NewbarK’s portability. Not only stylish, but made for those who are on-the-go, the Malakpour sisters have created this season’s must-have accessory.
